 Welcome to the NSWJRU Website.

NSWJRU is the governing Union of Junior Club Rugby in NSW and is affiliated to NSWRU.

Together with its two member Unions, Sydney Juniors and Country Juniors, NSWJRU provides structured rugby competitions and representative programs for over 19,000 registered Junior Club players. The stakeholders of NSWJRU are the 12 Sydney Junior Districts and 7 Country Junior Zones.

NSW Juniors represents the largest community rugby group in NSW and is the largest and oldest Junior Union nationally. We take a leading role with policy development for Juniors, the provision of Junior Club Rugby Pathways and strongly encourage the values and traditions of our great game.

The June long weekend of 6/7/8th June sees the NSWJRU State Championships commence for the age groups Under 11s to Under 17s.

This years NSWJRU State Championships also incorporate the Country Junior Championships for the U15s, U16s and U17s.

U11  6/7th June only   Blackman Park, Lane Cove

U12  6/7/8th June  Camden Rugby Park, Camden

U13  6/7/8th June   Drummoyne Ovals, Drummoyne

U14  6/7/8th June  Endeavour Park, Orange

U15  6/7/8th June  Glen Willow Sporting Complex, Mudgee

U16 and U17  6/7/8th June  St Lukes Fields, Concord

The Annual General meeting of the New South Wales Junior Rugby Union Inc was held at NSWRU offices, Moore Park on Saturday 29th November.

The following were elected unopposed for 2015:

President: Kerry Brady

Commercial Manager: Tony Fisher

Representative Manager: Ben Gregory

The Junior Gold Cup (JGC) is a national long term talent development and competition program at U15 and U17 age levels. It provides players, coaches, administrators and match officials the opportunity to be involved in high levels of representative rugby programming and development at a National level on an annual basis whilst maintaining local/regional representation. There will be 4 centres based in the Sydney metropolitan area and 6 centres in the Country area.
